This weekend was our ward Christmas party. It was great. Of course we live in the best neighborhood ever, so how could it not be. It didn't hurt that we skipped out early with a bunch of friends and went to see "Four Christmases." We heard rumor that Santa was coming and we were really excited to see him. Addy was so nervous to sit on his lap and she didn't want to talk to him but once it was her turn, she went right up there and told him that she wanted a Princess Barbie. Jake told Santa that he had been a really good boy this year and he really wanted a dog. I told Jake that Santa couldn't bring dogs because they would poop in his bag, maybe this will work again this year. Kendyl didn't ask for anything, she was just really embarrassed and wanted to get off his lap as soon as she could.

i love the picture of addy, she looks so serious! and that is so cute that jake first told santa how good he was all year and then told him he wanted a dog. how cute is that? i love your tree! that is so special that you have all of those handmade ornaments. i know what you mean about memories being attached to them. i have some i made as a kid. britten could not believe that i made them. it was so fun to decorate. i'll have to come over and see the finished product! i need to post so many things...
