New Years Eve this year was so much fun!!! We had a party at our house and invited the Highlands Gang, minus those of you who were traveling. We missed you guys. We decided it would be an adults only party. Kendyl and her friend, Maddie, babysat a bunch of the little ones at our friend's Laila's house and I have to admit it was so nice. There was lots of food, games, laughing and kissing? Let me rephrase that so you don't get the wrong idea, it was with our spouses. We rang in the New Year with toasts and I can't think of a better way to end 2008 and begin 2009 than with our friends. We love you guys. The kids had their own party at Kurtis and Laila's house. Most of the kids went to bed at decent times but not ours. Jake stayed awake until he came home which was about 1:30. Kendyl woke Addy up at midnight to ring in the new year and after their party Kendyl slept over at her friend's house and didn't go to bed until 7 am. I feel like we have been recouping on our missed sleep for days now but it was so worth it.

ummm...can you say I look a drunk in that picture? Haha! It seriously was a rockin party! We had a great time! thanks for throwing it! I hope you got some sleep last night!
